In my own experience, another tip is to keep images simple. I’ve seen businesses spend hundreds for overdone images that try to convey too much in a single image. I love tips 2 and 4, especially the part about letting the images speak for themselves. I was also happy to see you included details on alternate image types such as infographics which are becoming incredibly easy to create. Great tips that I’ll be sure to incorporate the next time I use images.

I love using images with my blog posts. If I am struggling to find a topic, I sometimes browse stock image sites for inspiration. Choosing that perfect image for a post can mean the difference between someone taking the time to read a post and someone skipping to the next website. I think when I see a stock image, it reminds me that it was a content writer who wrote it. Being a content writer, I don’t know, it just seems less impressive to me for whatever reason. That seems kind of like a self-esteem issue now that I think about it, lol.
